VoltLayer ("VoltLayer," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, users, and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our AI operations platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). 1.Information We Collect
VoltLayer collects information in two primary ways: information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically through your use of the Services.
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account, request a demo, or communicate with us, you may provide:
- •Account information: name, email address, job title, company name, phone number, and billing details.
- •Project and operational data: documents, drawings, RFIs, change orders, daily logs, estimates, schedules, and other construction or electrical project records you upload or connect to the platform.
- •Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send to us.
- •Integration credentials: OAuth tokens and API keys used to connect third-party tools such as Procore, QuickBooks, Bluebeam, and similar platforms. These credentials are encrypted at rest and never stored in plaintext.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Services, we automatically collect certain technical data, including:
- •Usage data: pages visited, features accessed, actions taken within the platform, and session duration.
- •Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers.
- •Log data: server logs, error reports, and performance metrics.
- •Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and local storage to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You may control cookie behavior through your browser settings; however, disabling certain cookies may impair platform functionality.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations
When you connect VoltLayer to third-party platforms (e.g., Procore, QuickBooks, Bluebeam, Gmail, Outlook), we receive data from those services as authorized by you. The scope of data received is limited to what is necessary to perform the automated workflows you have configured. We do not access third-party accounts beyond the permissions you explicitly grant.
2.How We Use Your Information
VoltLayer uses the information we collect to operate, improve, and secure our Services. Specifically, we use your information to:
- •Deliver the Services: process your project data, execute AI-assisted workflows (RFI triage, change order capture, daily log generation, etc.), and synchronize information across your connected tools.
- •Personalize your experience: train AI agents on your specific workflow rules, approval chains, and pricing logic as configured by your team.
- •Communicate with you: send transactional emails, platform notifications, product updates, and respond to support inquiries.
- •Improve the platform: analyze usage patterns and performance data to identify bugs, optimize features, and develop new capabilities.
- •Ensure security and compliance: detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity; enforce our Terms of Service.
- •Fulfill legal obligations: comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from governmental authorities.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your project data to train generalized AI models that serve other customers.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements). Project data and operational records may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for platform improvement purposes.

VoltLayer employs industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), tenant data isolation, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

- •Deletion: request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. VoltLayer is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
8.Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
